Abbey has been in dental care for almost ten years and has a passion for dental health. Starting as a dental nurse and attaining a Certificate III in dental assisting, she joined the sister practice, Collins Dental Image, in 2009 and was motivated to expand her skills & achieve a Certificate IV.
Working closely with the hygienists at CDI, Abbey was inspired to become an Oral Health Therapist to enable her to treat her own patients and help them achieve better dental health. Having acquired practising experience, Abbey further appreciated the high quality of care provided at our practice and was thrilled when the opportunity arose to re-join our team.
She says: “I love that being a hygienist allows me to focus on preventative care. I genuinely enjoy education & motivating my patients about oral health.” Abbey has a very bubbly personality and the energy to match and aims to please.
When not involved in dentistry, she spends her time hiking, snowboarding and hanging out with her friends and pet budgie at home.
