Carli found herself influenced by her grandfather, a dentist in a busy Queensland practice. After completing a Bachelor of Visual Arts at QUT Brisbane and travelling abroad, she returned to Australia to complete a Dip.OHT at the University of Melbourne in 2003.
She excelled academically, winning the Australian Society of Periodontology (Vic Branch) award for highest aggregate score and the Australian Dental Association (Vic Branch) award for academic achievement in her final year. Upon graduation, Carli began a rewarding career in dental hygiene at Collins Dental Image.
Carli enjoys all aspects of dental hygiene and has expanded her scope of practice to include in-office whitening, having completed Professor Laurie Walsh’s renowned course in Queensland. She is a member of the Dental Hygienists Association of Australia and regularly attends continuing education courses to extend her skills and knowledge.
Carli is always working hard to achieve the best possible results for clients with a range of needs. She has acquired a vast amount of clinical experience, is passionate about providing comfortable quality care at the highest standard, and thoroughly enjoys helping people. She advocates for clients in consultation with the dentists by pursuing a conservative, non-surgical approach to complex conditions.
On her days when she’s not with patients in the surgery, she’s a busy mum running after her two young daughters putting her artistic skills to good use, keeping them entertained.
